Count on Clinton to test Chevy Centre curfew
The mothership will land at the Chevrolet Centre Friday with an appearance by George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars.
For anyone attending the show, all I can recommend is get a good night’s sleep tonight.
Clinton pays attention to the rules of venue curfews about as well as another Clinton adhered to the rules of matrimony.
The tickets say Clinton will start at 8 p.m. That’s optimistic if past history is any indication. I’ve been to P-Funk shows that didn’t get rolling until 11 p.m. (two hours after the advertised start time); others started bright and early at 9:30 p.m. or so.
Maybe at age 67, Clinton has started wearing a watch, but I wouldn’t count on it.
I did a phone interview with Clinton years ago.
